ELA - Debating
Today we held our debates on whether or not school should start an hour earlier. Everyone debated well and your teams missed you.
We also shared our summaries and practiced identifying the the important parts of a story when summarizing. Remenber to take note of our four points when reading. Can you remember what each word meant?

Calculating Mean and Building Bar Graphs
Today's challenge:
Step 1: Pick your two favourite ice cream flavours.
Step 2: Ask five people to give each flavour a score out of ten. E.g. 10 out of 10 means they love it and 1 out of 10 means they dislike it.
Step 3: Work out the mean rating for each flavour by adding all the ratings together and dividing the total by number of people you asked.
Step 4: Create a bar graph of the mean ratinf foe your two favourite flavours of ice cream.
Step 5: Look at the data you colleceted again. Is there any other information you could share on a different bar graph? If so, create a second bar graph. This step might be quite challenging but see how you go!

Art - Christmas Craft
We continued working on our Christmas cards and wreaths from Monday.
We also spent some time doing our 12 days of Christmas activity which was Christmas Pictionary. Students also finished their Pop Art and prepared their ELA, SCIENCE, MATH and SPELLING duotangs to hand in.
